This stand-alone sermon was the Easter sermon for 2026.

Part 5 of "From Abraham to Joseph."  Genesis 28:10-22. Jacob's Dream teaches us things about the connection between heaven and earth and the connection between God and us. It is also an illustration of how heaven must reach down to us rather than us reaching up to it.

Part 4 of "From Abraham to Joseph." Genesis 26:1-28:9. This passage describes  Isaac's family as flawed and fractured, but God can use dysfunctional people to accomplish His redemptive plan.

Part 3 of "From Abraham to Joseph."  Genesis 25:19-34. In this passage, God prophesied some things ahead of time, and humans made decisions for which they are responsible.

Part 2 of "From Abraham to Joseph."  Genesis 24:1-67. Abraham was balancing the call to live in the promised land with the importance of his son not marrying a Canaanite. This has implications for ancient Israel and us.

Part 1 of "From Abraham to Joseph."  Genesis 23:1-20 & Ephesians 1:13-14. The cave Sarah was buried in is somewhat like the Holy Spirit. Both of them are inheritances that point to an even greater inheritance to come.

Problem #8: Experience Instead of the Bible. Because everyone is building a life upon some kind of foundation, a proper foundation is needed.

Can Science lead us to a more moral live? The evidence is in, and the Bible has something to say about that...

Part 6 of "Modern American Problems."  Luke 12:13-21 and 16:1-13. A sermon about what we should do with our money before it is taken away from us. 

Part 5 of "Modern American Problems." Matthew 6:25-34, Philippians 4:6-7, and Philippians 4:10-13. The Bible teaches us not to worry, and the Gospel makes that possible.
